| Test Description | The ID Screen® Avian Salmonella Indirect ELISA is used for the detection of antibodies against Salmonella Groups B and D in poultry serum samples. This test is designed to support surveillance and monitoring programs in commercial poultry flocks by identifying exposure to important zoonotic Salmonella serotypes, including Salmonella Enteritidis and Salmonella Typhimurium. The presence of antibodies indicates previous exposure or infection and is useful for flock health management, biosecurity programs, and certification testing. |
