ulceration
or hemorrhages of the gizzard lining
poor growth
reduced feed intake
or feed conversion issues
suspected feed toxicity or mycotoxin involvement
post-mortem investigation of unexplained mortality
laboratory evaluation of gizzard tissue helps in identifying underlying pathological causes
